Technical

Implementation notes.

  • Kernel driver loading via DSE (Driver Signature Enforcement) bypass; driver executes at ring-0
  • KTRAP_FRAME hijacking — thread context modified mid-trap to redirect execution without suspicious API calls
  • Reflective PE injection — position-independent shellcode maps a PE image into target process memory; no CreateRemoteThread, no WriteProcessMemory at call sites
  • TLS initialization — manually fires TLS callbacks and seeds _tls_index for injected module; required for MSVC CRT under reflective load
  • AES-256-CBC payload encryption — per-build random keys patched into source at compile time; encrypted blobs embedded as resources
  • PEB walk module resolution — locates kernel32/ntdll without calling LoadLibrary in hot paths; avoids loader lock and API hooks
  • IAT-free D3DCompile resolution — d3dcompiler_47.dll loaded dynamically via GetProcAddress; no static import table entry
  • DX11 vtable hook — IDXGISwapChain::Present patched via vtable pointer overwrite; no detours, no inline hooks
  • RtlAddFunctionTable registration — injected DLL's x64 exception table registered for correct SEH unwinding
  • HWID collection via IOCTL — disk serials, NIC MACs, SMBIOS UUID, GPU LUID gathered at kernel level
